The Rotary Club of Yangon (Myanmar) has announced that it will host “The Boy with a Bamboo Heart” published by Maverick House during its February meeting.

This will be the sixth meeting with the Rotary International. The clubs of The Rotary Club of Bangkok South, Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, Rotary Club of Orleans(Ottawa) Canada, Rotary Club of Philadelphia and Rotary Club of Lake Geneva have previously heard this remarkable story.

The author, Chantal Jauvin, Canadian born and educated international attorney and author will make a presentation.

Please join us as Innwa Books and Café hosts Canadian author Chantal Jauvin for a book signing of “The Boy with a Bamboo Heart” published by Maverick House. The book was named Book of the Lunar Year 2016 and placed as finalist for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards.

This event is open to the public, so please bring a friend. No tickets are required.

This event will be the seventh event in a series of Book Salons which was launched in 2016. These smaller more intimate events are intended to foster more in-depth conversations about the book, its themes and the FORDEC charity.
